Graduation Exams Calendar for Year 2025 and 2026

• Last Session Academic Year 2023-24 - March 25th, 2025
• Extra-ordinary Session Academic Year 2023-24 - April 28th, 2025
• First Session Academic Year 2024-25 - July 22nd, 2025
• Second Session Academic Year 2024-25 - September 24th, 2025
• Third Session Academic Year 2024-25 -  December 18th, 2025
• Extra-ordinary Session Academic Year 2024-25 - April 28th, 2026

Please carefully read the instructions below about procedures and deadlines to follow!

Starting March 2025 the graduation exams will take place at Aula Magna, Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica, polo scientifico della Cittadella Universitaria, via Santa Sofia 62, Catania.

On line procedures and deadlines for graduation exams:

For the candidate:

• 4 month (120 days) before the announced date for graduation exam:
  • Fill in, online, the request: "assegnazione tesi".
    Path on the student portal: home>Carriera>Domande>Richiesta di assegnazione tesi.
    You do not need to fill in the data relative to internal/external advisors
  • Wait for the advisor to accept your request.
• 2 months (60 days, strict deadline!) before the announced date for graduation exam:
  • Fill in, online, the "domanda di laurea" (path: home>Carriera>Domande>Domanda di laurea);
  • Pay the prescribed fee for graduation.
• within 1 month and up to 15 days before the announced date for graduation exam:
  • Confirmation of the data about your Thesis (it is possibile to upgrade the title of the dissertation)
  • Fill in, on line, of the Alma Laurea questionaire;
  • Upload of the final Thesis document in pdf/A ( home > Carriera > Domande > Upload file tesi )
  • to complete ALL the exams request in your Study plan;

For the advisor:

• reply accepting or refusing the Thesis request from the candidate as soon as posible after the system notifies you of the request;
• approve the final Thesis document 10 days before the announced date for graduation exam.
